Many Paths to Recovery
This program is a flexible, licensed substance use treatment professional-guided outpatient treatment program, participants can expect their care plans to include a combination of one or more group sessions weekly (up to 3 hours of group programming initially available), weekly one on one individual counseling, and the potential for additional coordinated primary care, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), lifestyle medicine, behavioral health, and/or other medically needed specialty care services.
Participants can expect a clear diagnosis and treatment recommendation at completion of their initial intake assessment, and if their needs are best addressed in our outpatient care model, a minimum commitment of 12 weeks of participation is required. Many Paths to Recovery is designed to support the chosen patterns of growth participants are working for within their own homes, workplaces and the relationships they hold most dear. Ongoing clinical review of treatment plans is a built-in facet of our treatment philosophy.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) (Recovery Support Solutions)
Recovery Support Solutions is a partnership between Western Wisconsin Health and St. Croix County Health and Human Services to provide withdrawal management support and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options in the primary care clinic at Western Wisconsin Health.
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications in combination with counseling, behavioral therapies, and peer support for the treatment of substance use disorders. For those with opioid or alcohol use disorders, medication addresses the physical difficulties that one experiences when they stop taking opioids or drinking alcohol. Patients can choose who actively participates on their recovery team.
