Diabetes Educator & Endocrinology Care Coordinator

Emma Ostlie, RN, brings a diverse background in healthcare and a passion for helping patients better understand and manage their health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and her Associate Degree in Nursing from Northwood Technical College in New Richmond.

Emma’s interest in diabetes education began while working as a pharmacy technician, where she had the opportunity to work alongside a diabetes educator. She was drawn to the opportunity to combine nursing, medication knowledge, education, and meaningful patient relationships. Her experience as a pharmacy technician provided her with valuable medication knowledge, which she continues to incorporate into her work today.

Before joining diabetes education and endocrinology care coordination, Emma worked as a registered nurse on medical-surgical and progressive care units. These experiences strengthened her clinical skills and deepened her appreciation for individualized, patient-centered care.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys reading, walking, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
