Do you want to learn more about how to make it ok to talk about mental illness? Do you want to help reduce the stigma of mental illness?
Join us for a Make It OK Ambassador Training.
- Training is FREE, but registration is required (see details below).
- All are welcome. You don’t need to be a mental health expert to participate.
- Attendees who decide to become a Make it OK Ambassador and present to community groups will be provided the necessary tools and resources.
Each year, 1 in 5 adults will experience a mental illness, and 60% do not seek treatment. The stigma surrounding mental illnesses is one of the barriers to people getting the help they need and deserve.
Make It OK is an initiative that focuses on reducing stigma by starting conversations about mental illness. Everyone has the ability to help to “Make It OK” to talk about mental illness and stop stigma. At this training, you’ll receive information and materials to become a Make It OK Ambassador and help promote the initiative to stop the stigma in our communities. It’s easy, rewarding and no experience is needed.
ALL are welcome to this FREE training, but we ask that you register. Register online using the link below or contact Alexis Warzon at 715-684-1645 or email@example.com or Katie Carstens at 715-684-1280 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
