Healthy Hustle 5K Draws Record-Breaking Crowd for Glow Run Fun

BALDWIN, Wis. – The Western Wisconsin Health Fitness Center welcomed a record-breaking 182 participants to its annual Healthy Hustle 5K on Friday, June 5, as community members gathered for an evening of fitness, fun, and celebration during Baldwin Windmill Days.

For the second consecutive year, the Healthy Hustle 5K was held on a Friday evening and featured a popular Glow Run theme. Participants embraced the festive atmosphere by decorating themselves with bright body paint and glow tattoos before taking to the course for either a run or walk through Baldwin.

The race consisted of three one-mile loops that started and ended at Mill Pond Park, allowing participants to enjoy the camaraderie and encouragement of fellow runners and walkers throughout the evening. As a special keepsake, each participant received a custom-designed Glow Run finisher medal and an event t-shirt featuring a running cow in recognition of this year’s Windmill Days cow theme.

The event attracted participants of all ages and fitness levels, making it the largest Healthy Hustle 5K to date. Following the race, runners and walkers enjoyed milk, water, and healthy snacks provided by Kwik Trip and Nilssen’s Foods. Participants then gathered to watch the Windmill Days fireworks display, providing a memorable conclusion to an evening centered on health, wellness, and community.

“The Healthy Hustle 5K continues to be a wonderful way to bring our community together while promoting healthy lifestyles and physical activity,” said Kerri Stiller, Wellness Program Coordinator and Fitness Instructor at Western Wisconsin Health. “It was exciting to see a record number of participants come out and enjoy an evening of movement, connection, and fun.
