SAVE THE DATE FOR 2024: Wednesday, July 24, 2024 (yes, this is a week later to accommodate and honor one of our partner’s events on July 17)
Western Wisconsin Health Foundation(WWH) celebrated the 22nd Annual Golf Outing on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at River Falls Golf Club. Western Wisconsin Health has seen an increase in the number of inpatients both on the medical-surgical and birth center units. Proceeds from this event will go towards the WWH inpatient hospital expansion of seven rooms to care for patients close to home.
We are pleased to announce, that we hosted a record number of 32 teams and raised $44,100 through sponsorship, participants, golf course games, raffle prizes, in-kinds and our new addition to the event, Back Swing Golf Events. Ladies Professional Golf Association member, Betsy Kelly from Back Swing attended our event and raised additional funds for WWH through a fun “Beat the Pro” game on hole # 6.
Congratulations to the winning team, Crabgrass Band: Rick Stone, Mike Driscoll, Chris Loos and Brandon Sturtz. See our Facebook Golf 2023 Album for all winners! It was a wonderful day with excellent weather, community, and camaraderie. Thank you to our many sponsors for their support of Western Wisconsin Health!
