At Western Wisconsin Health, our nephrology services focus on managing chronic kidney disease, electrolyte imbalance, pre- and post-renal transplant care, in addition to hospitalist medicine. When caught early on, serious kidney disease can often be avoided through medication and lifestyle changes. Late-stage kidney disease or kidney failure may lead to the need for a kidney transplant. Our team will work closely with you at any stage to determine the cause of your kidney issues and collaborate with you to form the best plan to slow or stop them.

Our nephrology services include:

  • Chronic kidney disease treatment and associated secondary hyperparathyroidism and renal anemia
  • Kidney transplant referral and preparation along with post-operative care
  • Blood pressure management
  • Electrolyte imbalance
  • Preparation for hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis
