Western Wisconsin Health (WW Health) is pleased to announce that the Baldwin-Woodville High School Girls Volleyball team recently made a donation to the WW Health Cancer Center. WW Health received $2,000, as well as approximately $1,000 worth of other items including $250 in gas cards, $250 in Visa gift cards, hand crafted blankets, books, hard candies, and more. These generous and thoughtful gifts will be given to cancer patients and their families.

The Blackhawk volleyball team sponsored a very large “PINK OUT” event at one of their home games against the Ellsworth Panthers on Tuesday, September 26. The event included a Free Will Donation Community Spaghetti Supper and pink t-shirts were available for purchase. The goal of the fundraiser was to help BLOCK OUT CANCER and the team received contributions from the community that helped make it a huge success.

“We are very grateful for the kind gesture and the enthusiasm these young ladies and their coaches showed as they came together for this cause,” said Linda Austin, Lead Nurse of Chemotherapy and Infusion at WW Health. “These gifts will mean a lot and brighten the days of our patients and their families as they work through this difficult time in their lives.”
