Director of Health Information Management

Kasey joined the Western Wisconsin Health team in July of 2015 as the Director of Health Information Management. She’s been in the HIM field for over 17 years, starting off as a Medical Records Clerk and worked her way up through varies roles in the health information management and technology fields. She has worked as a Lead Abstraction Clerk, Application Analyst / Image Coordinator Lead, Clinical IT Analyst, Project Analyst, and most recently IT Analyst/Programmer for Mayo Clinic Health System. She has also done work as an Independent HIM / IT Consultant specializing in EMR implementations and upgrades. Kasey started her schooling at the Minnesota State College Southeast Technical in 2002 with a Certification. Later returned to her studies and attended Rochester Community and Technical College, graduating in 2014 with her Associate in Applied Science degree. She also obtained her registered Health Information Technology certification through AHIMA in 2014.
