Western Wisconsin Health is excited to announce that the new fitness center and therapeutic pool will open on the new Western Wisconsin Health campus on Monday, March 6, 2017.

The community is invited to a special grand opening celebration on Thursday, March 2 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The event will include tours of the fitness center and pool, live music, light refreshments, fitness class demos, prizes, meet and greet with our new providers and fitness instructors, and tables highlighting our services in the Atrium. We will be offering an exclusive new member discount at the event only. Sign up for a fitness center or therapeutic pool membership and receive your first month free with the purchase of a $15 access card.

The new 12,800 square foot 24/7 fitness center and therapeutic pool features many updates such as a drop-in play room, a 1,500 square foot private fitness studio for group exercise classes, and brand new cardio and strength equipment throughout the entire facility. The spacious locker rooms will feature more showers and lockers for guests. The new assisted changing room will provide privacy for families with young children, seniors in need of dressing assistance, as well as those with special needs.

The therapeutic pool includes a new Hoyer lift, an increased depth of 5’6”, and two propulsion jets that have been added for resisted swimming and water running. The therapeutic pool floor will be cushioned and the pool deck will be larger to accommodate classes such as heated yoga.
