James Roe, MA, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

James is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Human Services and a Master of Arts in Counseling, both from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. He holds an additional specialty certification in treating substance use disorders and is trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Since beginning his counseling career in 2014, James has worked in a variety of settings such as vocational rehabilitation, substance use treatment, crisis assessment and management, and outpatient mental health care. He has supported individuals, couples, and groups across the lifespan, and values a holistic approach to care.

Drawn to counseling as a way to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, James is passionate about helping clients navigate challenges and find personal growth. Outside of work, he enjoys board games, running, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with his four children.
