Nurse-Midwifery care includes a full range of services for adolescence as well as beyond menopause. While prenatal and women’s health services are offered at both the Roberts and Baldwin locations, please note that birth services are only offered at the WW Health Birth Center in Baldwin.

Midwifery services include:

  • Primary care
  • Preventative care: physical and clinical breast exam
  • Gynecologic and all available family planning methods
  • Preconception care: for those who are thinking about getting pregnant
  • Care during pregnancy: prenatal visits
  • Labor and birth care: no matter what type of birth you plan for: medicated, non-medicated, water birth, land birth
  • Postpartum care including treatment of mood disorder
  • Care of the normal newborn during the first 28 days of life including newborn exams, weight and color checks
